In this episode, the pacing feels kind of fast, and the sequence goes from the beach and school scenes, then straight into action. The animation is great, and there’s a lot of detail in the Star Driver control room. Overall, it’s still a great pilot episode.
Way too much going on honestly, you really need to pay attention and you might still not grasp what's going on, I was and am honestly pretty confused about what exactly star drivers are and how the plot is going to progress because it isn't really clear about who exactly the antagonists are. I have a lot of questions that will be answered in the episodes following this one. I honestly would've rated this episode a lot lower but the animation and humor makes up for it and towards the end you get a vague idea of what the anime is trying to get at, the writing could've been a lot better. The action is pretty decent and it makes you curious about how things are gonna play out. The Ginga Bishonen seems like a pretty decent guy and honestly pretty likeable. With a PINCH!
Unik banget cerita anime mecha yang satu ini. Penggambaran karakternya udah bagus, meskipun untuk ceritanya terlalu berat dan banyak info yang diberikan dalam satu waktu, jadi buat aku harus ulang beberapa kali biar paham dengan cerita episode pertama ini. Tapi ternyata kalau udah paham langsung ngerasa kalau ini bakal jadi anime seru, apalagi lihat waktu takuto berubah keren bangettt.
