Overall, this was another really good episode

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the series, this episode earns its title. The Yamato's voyage has stretched resources and nerves thin, and the cracks are starting to show. Expect a tonal shift toward claustrophobia and friction, supply shortages and relentless Gamilas pressure force the crew to confront whether they can sustain this mission at all. Kodai and Yuki Mori anchor the human drama as leadership is tested under impossible conditions. The pacing deliberately alternates between sharp combat sequences and quieter, psychologically heavy scenes that sit with the weight of exhaustion and doubt. This is a pressure-cooker episode, one that trades spectacle for stakes. The determination is still there, but it's harder-won now. If you've been waiting for the series to test its characters' limits rather than just their weapons, this delivers.
