Synopsis
Sealed in a capsule somewhere in rural Japan for ten years, an android named Linea wakes up with no memory of who she is or why she was there. She wanders until she finds a small research center run by three women, and that's where things get interesting. One of the researchers, Sayaka, becomes almost immediately drawn to Linea in a way she can't quite explain — enough to walk away from her current relationship. What follows is part mystery, part sci-fi, part intimate character study, all wrapped in that unmistakable mid-90s OVA aesthetic that fans of the era tend to either love or deeply miss. The animation has that detailed, slightly moody quality you'd expect from 1995, and the soundtrack leans into the quieter emotional beats rather than trying to oversell them. At only two episodes, it's a short watch, but it covers a lot of ground — Linea's fragmented sense of identity, the shifting dynamics between the women at the center, and a growing sense that something larger is lurking underneath the surface. If you've gone through Cool Devices or something like Kite and you're curious about the softer, more character-driven end of that same era's catalog, this sits in an interesting space. It's not trying to be loud about anything — it just drops you into a strange, quiet world and lets the tension build on its own.
