Situ Lu's attacks are ferocious and very violent; after so much comedic acting, one wouldn't expect him to be so sadistic. The action scenes are brutal (and that's a good thing), and you really feel that Yang Jinghua is suffering. I really appreciate that he decided to solve his problem by becoming stronger rather than seeking help from Duanmu Xi; I really hate it when a relationship between characters has to be built on a dependency for security. There are hints about the characters' past lives or lineage, which makes the story more interesting.

That was quite the thrilling episode! Though the animation leaves a lot to be desired, I think the scenes still conveyed the tension and the action between the characters very well. Much to think about You Keika's true background from here!

CN Version: Wow, the events in this ep are great! Keika (Jinghua)’s mysterious powerup coupled with Tanmoku Ki (Duanmu Xi)’s cool entrance are sights to behold~ Their relationship is developing 🥺JP Version: This anime really likes making random ahh pop culture references 😂 It makes the story feel so unserious sometimes, but they’re pretty funny though, ngl lmao. The story is building up to huge problems for the characters 😱 How will they deal with all the mess?!
