Uno de mis animes favoritos de todos los tiempos, increíble historia, muy original y especial. El mensaje es hermoso, como en varias obras de Hayao Miyazaki. Se nota que es una obra hecha con mucho cariño y amor, para todas las edades. Los paisajes, los detalles de la animación y los personajes son únicos, y la banda sonora es inigualable. Lo recomiendo sin dudas.

A well-loved classic that still holds up very well in the modern day. The animation feels organic, and the world created in the story feels alive. It is deeply coated in subtle themes and tells a fantastical story while remaining eerily realistic. Cinema.

Puede ser la mejor película de Studio Ghibli, como pueden ser muchas otras, pero definitivamente esta fue la que me despertó mas emociones. Quizás porque fue la primera que vi o porque el mundo es totalmente increíble, cada personaje, cada escenario. Todo el ambiente de la película te dan ganas de verla una y otra vez.

ジブリの中でも、数ある映画の中でも上位で好きな作品。ストーリー展開もどのキャラクターも大好きでとてもわかりやすいと思う。音楽も思わず口ずさんでしまうし、印象に残る映画だと思う。

This is the first anime to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and considered by many Miyazaki’s magnum opus, and honestly this film earns every bit of its reputation. Magical and unforgettable, it’s a film can only be described as "you owe yourself to experience".

Some of the scenes feel magical and beautiful, but at the same time it can also give out a vibe of loneliness and unsettledness. That vibe really stuck with me. But at the end of it, it felt calmer and a bit reflective, like I had gone through something meaningful with Chihiro.

One thing that I deeply admire about Miyazaki, (apart from the iconic Ghibli art style of course) is his portrayal of female lead characters. He describes them with reverence and they aren't simply just love interests/trophies. That's the best part about Chihiro's journey.

Few animated films manage to feel as magical, unsettling, and deeply human as Spirited Away. It’s not just a fantasy story; it’s an experience that stays with you with you long after it ends. The animation is stunning even decades later. <3

I think the visual of the train on the water is the most masterpiece scene, because from a visual perspective, even the music is so moving. Ghibli is truly a champion when it comes to creating quiet but touching moments.

A masterpiece that really stands the test of time. Spirited Away excels from the stunning, smooth animation and the way they handle the character arcs for Chihiro and Haku - and how their interactions shaped the narrative intricately. Always a must-watch!

A Ghibli film with Miyazaki's signature style of animation and direction, tells about Chihiro's journey in the spirit world & self-discovery. The soundtracks are impeccable, as if crafted to each scenes & characters. Each character has unique traits and depth, even the extras.

I really love the art style and visual direction. Now I understand why it won the awards it deserved. At first the story might be confusing but as you dive in more. You'll realize how compelling it is. Truly a masterclass in its own right and I wish we get to see more of it.
