Episode Context

As episode 1 of 12, this is the season's foundation, reestablishing Lawrence and Holo's partnership while introducing Fermi Amati, a character whose role will clearly expand in the episodes ahead. It picks up the emotional thread from the first season's conclusion and pivots toward new interpersonal and economic tensions in Kumerson. The title itself, 'Wolf and an Inadvertent Rift,' signals that the seeds of conflict planted here will define the early arc of this season.
