A chaotic, high-energy masterpiece! This episode perfectly captures the daily madness of Hellsalem's Lot through a simple, hilarious quest for lunch. The dynamic between Leo, Zapp, and Chain is at its peak here. The ending with Zapp’s luck is both heartbreaking and peak comedy.

Synopsis
Kekkai Sensen adapts a select 12 chapters from the first 6 volumes of the manga it is based on while adding a new plotline and characters, culminating in an anime-exclusive ending. Aside from the first episode which adapts the three-chapter pilot, each episode adapts one chapter. Episodes 1 and 2 were previewed at a screening at Odaiba Cinema Mediage in Tokyo on March 21, 2015. Regular broadcasting began on April 5, 2015. The final episode was originally scheduled to broadcast on July 4, 2015, but was delayed to October 4, 2015.

The episode mostly revolves around Leo's troubles, which he resolves later on through his experiences with the new characters introduced. The story is presented with fairly enjoyable pacing and introduces several unique characters as well. Overall, another great ep.
This episode gave a slight introduction on what's to come. It delved more into the worldbuilding and elaborated more on what the main villains in the series would be. This exposition was presented in great pacing and solid storytelling. Another great episode so far.
