EPISODE REVIEWS

I liked the change of pace in this one. It gave the story some room to breathe and spent more time showing the world around the characters. It was a quieter episode, but I thought the extra details helped make the setting feel more interesting. Worth watching if you enjoy the world-building parts of the series.

On one side I'm kinda happy that the Core managed to reach destination, on the other Arina was discarded like all the minimally interesting side-characters. Boring.

Episode 9 is the calm between storms, but it's still got that edge. Maetel staying on Rametal to try and make things right is a huge moment. She could've bounced, gone off with her sister, lived her life. But she didn't. She's taking responsibility.Nazca leaving to join Harlock is a nice nod to the wider Leiji Matsumoto universe the guy's still got a bigger story to be part of .
