Synopsis
In a future where humanity battles the Gamilon, Earth is under constant bombardment, leaving its atmosphere uninhabitable. Queen Starsha of Iscandar offers a solution: a device to neutralize the radiation. The Earth Forces launch the space battleship Yamato, rebuilt from its World War II ancestor, on a desperate mission. The crew must travel 148,000 light-years to Iscandar and back within a single Earth year to retrieve the device. This journey represents humanity's last stand against extinction, testing the crew's courage and resolve as they face the unknown dangers of deep space and the looming threat of their own demise. The series explores themes of survival, hope, and the enduring spirit of humanity in the face of overwhelming odds.
