This episode is a amazing in shifting an anime from a comfortable cozy theme into a story about historical trauma, showing that even in a peaceful town, the scars of war run deep. The pacing is perfectly balanced. It starts with the slow, wonder-filled journey of a teenager looking at a new town, drops into a sudden emotional valley with Seiya's outburst. Thanks to this episode it's makes the story development be more interesting.

The trip into the town's local workshops beautifully expands the rich, post-apocalyptic lore, reminding us that despite the peaceful slice-of-life vibe, this is a deeply weathered world holding onto its remaining pieces of beauty and craftsmanship.
