it warms my heart to see that maka always has crona's back no matter what happens. their plotline continues to deeply sadden me. i do feel like a lot of the events in this episode weren't super important though

the anime-original padding is becoming painfully obvious. dedicating an entire episode to events that feel entirely inconsequential to the main plot severely damages the momentum. reading the manga feels like the better option here.

half of the things that happened today felt completely pointless, my poor baby crona is suffering, but honestly the pacing is frustrating me so much that i am highly tempted to just drop this and go read the manga.
