watching stein slowly lose himself is genuinely heartbreaking. it feels so real, almost like watching someone suffer from severe dementia where their entire perception of reality changes. i feel so bad for him.

the visual and psychological depiction of madness is masterfully executed here. treating the magical corruption as a visceral, degenerative mental condition adds incredible weight to the narrative stakes.

the way they depict him going mad is giving me actual chills, this goes so hard. also this is the first time i am hearing soul's full name, and i am just now realizing that soul evans is actually incredibly fine
