EPISODE CONTEXT

Episodes 1 through 3 function as a prologue trilogy, each dedicated to introducing one of the three main meister-weapon teams — Maka, Black☆Star, and now Death the Kid. With all three teams now established, the series shifts gears starting in episode 4, bringing the cast together at Death Weapon Meister Academy where collaborative storylines and a larger narrative begin to take shape. This episode completes the foundation the entire 51-episode run is built on.
