It's more of a girls' slice-of-life anime than Soul Eater. The story is simple, the pacing is quite slow, a bit boring at times. While the visuals still have that familiar Soul Eater style, the premiere lacks the energy and unique charm.

The animation is okay, same as the first soul eater anime. The protagonist is a bit noisy, though. The opening song is okay, same as the closing.
