At first, it seemed that Nagara might have found a solution to go back. But it didn’t work. Once it passes, we have no hold of it. No one can change past events. All that matters is to follow into the future. This message is beautifully portrayed in this episode.

This is where the show really felt heavy! It focuses on Yamabiko and the struggle to belong. The animation captures that "fragmented" feeling perfectly, while the pacing is slow to build up the story nicely.
