No me pareció un final triste, de hecho es bastante emotivo y bien para todos. Aunque personalmente me parece que Mayuko hubiera aprovechado mejor el poder de la espada, ni ella ni nadie queda “sola” y pueden seguir con sus vidas. Fue un anime de altibajos, tardó en arrancar y aun cuando arrancó tenia demasiado misterio a su al rededor. Pero ya desde la recta final no estuvo mal.
It was indeed a bittersweet episode. The tone was bleak as how the plot progressed and how the turn of events shifted. The ep was dragged too long to be this late in the series and should have happened in the earlier stages of the series. Nevertheless, not a satisfying ending for me. The ending scene goes back to where it started and that becomes nostalgic.
Every final decision feels logical and respects the characters' development from the start. It's a heartwarming final episode that leaves a lasting impression, evoking a warm emotion and a sense of something unforgettable.
