EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the resolution of the Fort Laxdo incident in Episode 5, this episode pivots from external threats to internal ones by introducing Prince Izana as a new source of pressure on Shirayuki and Zen's bond. Sitting at the season's halfway mark, it establishes the political and personal stakes that will define the back half of the series. Izana's arrival and the tensions he creates here directly feed into the developments of Episode 7 and beyond.
