The opening alone already piqued my interest. Not only is the animation crisp, but the colors are also beautifully vibrant. That said, the story is just as engaging. I like how things didn’t drag on for too long. Overall a solid premiere—great story, nice visuals and art.

This opening episode took the premise of the Snow White tale and put a great spin on it. What I like about it is that Shirayuki was given another chance to start her life in another country and meet many people along.
