Episode Context

Coming off the team's return from their intense match against Jousei High in Episode 94, this filler episode serves as a deliberate cooldown before the series' endgame. It sits just six episodes from the finale, providing a last moment of calm before Hanamichi's training culminates in Episode 96 with new basketball shoes and national championship preparation. For viewers powering through to the finish, this is skippable without losing plot continuity, but it offers a final window into the character relationships that fuel the series' emotional core.
