Yare yare. Begitulah Sakuragi. Pertandingan semakin intens di episode ini. Pertahanan tim Shoyo/Ryonan sangat ketat, jadi memang diperlukan tembakan di luar ring untuk mendapatkan poin. Penceritaannya kali ini rapi sehingga membuatku sangat menikmati episode ini.

This episode is one of the most exciting in Slam Dunk and easily a 9/10. It perfectly balances fast-paced basketball action with heartwarming team moments. Sakuragi stepping up makes it satisfying, and the camaraderie adds a wholesome, character-driven touch.

It’s loud, funny, dramatic, and plants the first seed of Sakuragi’s transformation from street brawler to basketball hopeful.

Episode Context

Episode 100 sits one step from the series finale, continuing the anime-original practice match against the combined Shoyo-Ryonan team that escalated in Episode 99. While classified as filler with no direct manga source, it serves as the dramatic runway leading into Episode 101, 'Glorious Slam Dunk,' where the match and the entire series reach their conclusion. For viewers this deep into the show, it's essentially the final buildup before the last whistle.
