EPISODE REVIEWS

How come a sport arc can be character development for a side caharacter. Not that i'm complaining about it but it's just unexpected. Nothing extravagant happen in this episode but still its a good feel good time waster. I thought there's gonna be romance involved but nooo

Episode Context

Sitting at the near-midpoint of the 12-episode season, Episode 5 builds on the groundwork laid in Episode 4, where Mitsumi was still finding her footing in a new social environment, now she's actively pushing herself and deepening connections beyond her initial circle. The introduction of meaningful dynamics with Mika Egashira signals the show broadening its character focus, setting the stage for more complex interpersonal threads in the season's back half. This episode functions as a pivot from Mitsumi's adaptation arc into the series' deeper exploration of how genuine relationships challenge and change everyone involved.
