This in my opinion is episode is for Shima character development and seeing mitsumi getting her real life big city tratment is refreshing in this chill slice of life anime. It's a great filler since most of the episode only consist of struggle and past trauma.

The episode was merely the preparation for the school fest. What makes it interesting was Shima's healing himself slowly from a place of concern from his past and projecting his own failure to selfishness onto Mitsumi. The soundtrack applied was refreshing and promising.
