Came for the manga, stayed for the vibes. For someone who only reads the manga, Skip and Loafer is definitely one of those series where you can always get more (of the same). The VAs does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life.

First episode was adorably charming and a heartwarming start! The animation is crisp, smooth, and the dancing scene in the OP looks cute! Got the comfy vibes immediately with Mitsumi being optimistic toward her life goals that it's almost funny. The running scene was remarkable.

Loving the clean, comfy animation and chill vibes. Episode 1 was light and fun—lucky Iwakura met Shima, such a nice friend. Can’t wait to see the rest of their new friends. Totally worth a watch!

Total vibes! Gives you the feel of comfort, slice-of-life. The animation feels soft and comfy while the pacing feels like a warm breeze! Mitsumi feels like relatable character. This anime is not gonna be a cringe rom-com anime type. You’ll be smiling the whole time✨✨

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode one of twelve, 'Sparkling-Fresh' is pure foundation — introducing Mitsumi's move to Tokyo, her personality, and her first meaningful connection with Sousuke Shima. It feeds directly into episode two, 'Fidgeting and Wandering,' where classroom dynamics and social hierarchies begin to take shape. The groundwork laid here for Mitsumi's character and key relationships carries through the entire season.
