Sizzling Siblings

Synopsis
For as long as he can remember, Yoshiharu has been in love with his older sister Sana — and before you close the tab, yes, this is exactly what it sounds like. It's a 2-episode OVA from 2013 based on a manga, and it leans fully into its premise without apology. When Sana announces she's moving out of their family home, Yoshiharu realizes he's running out of time to say the thing he's been holding back for years. The emotional tension is real — there's genuine internal conflict here, not just an excuse to skip past the drama. The animation from Studio Prokion is clean and expressive, with character emotions rendered in enough detail that the quieter scenes carry actual weight. The soundtrack does a decent job of keeping the mood grounded rather than melodramatic. If you watched Yosuga no Sora or Koi Kaze and found yourself drawn to stories that treat taboo feelings with some emotional sincerity rather than pure shock value, this scratches a similar itch in a much shorter runtime. It's not trying to be a psychological study — it's two episodes, it knows what it is, and it delivers on that without much padding. Don't go in expecting a slow-burn character study, but if you want something that at least frames its forbidden love angle with a bit of emotional context before things escalate, this holds up reasonably well for what it is.
