This is the episode where Tetsuya truly becomes a legend. Innami is the Grim Reaper, and Tetsuya has to stare death in the face and refuse to blink. The match is brutal, the tension is palpable, and the outcome will define Tetsuya's future. If he wins, he cements his place in Shinjuku's underworld. If he loses, he's done.
I like how Tetsuya now act like a matured adult. Even though the stakes were all against him, he kept his cool during the match and think of the next play which will help make him succeed. His aim for playing with Innami is to make him realized the dangerous affect of the drugs which make it clear for us viewers as well.
