The rematch with Tobi is the kind of early victory that gives the protagonist momentum before facing bigger challenges. It's not the most exciting episode, but it's a solid entry in a classic rise of the gambler arc.

I like how Boshu act as Tetsuya's rival / teacher in this episode. They are in some kind of love-hate relationship lol but I kinda admire how persistent Tetsuya is also in order to make Boshu to teach him the skills required to survive in the gambling world.
