This isn't Kaiji or Akagi. The thrill and psychological tension aren't on the same level. The cheating tricks and strategies are simpler. But this is a solid setup for a "coming of age" story about a gambler learning the ethics of the underground world . If you want a gritty, old-school gambling story with a great setting and a classic mentor figure, this is worth your time.

It's a very interesting concept for an anime. This is my first time stumbling on this kind of anime. I can see Tetsuya is still a beginner and have a lot of inexperience with. Hopefully the plot will be nice because I really want to see how the story goes.
