That was so good, for a second there I thought the worse outcome would come, but this was so much better. And the ending to the old mystery really tied it all together, it wasn't a cheap too over the face solution, but a one simple yet it makes sense, and as Osanai puts it, "we were really a stupid middle schooler", and that puts it into perspective what they both were thinking during that time.They ended the anime with a beautiful closure too, simple, calm yet truthful. Overall I'd say, this is the best anime I've watched this year, I would love to erase my memory and re-watch it again! Give it a watch too, you won't regret it!
A really satisfying finale. I liked that it stayed true to what makes this series unique it's never just about solving the mystery but understanding the people behind it. Kobato and Osanai's journey came full circle, and the ending felt earned instead of rushed.
