I read another review that said you needed to watch season 1 to understand season 2, or else the story wouldn't make sense. I have only watch 2 episode from season 1. In the first episode of season 2, they introduced a new character that didn't exist in season 1. So I'm left confused in the middle of an ongoing plot, Osanai is dating someone else and Kobato is nowhere to be seen yet. But the relationship between Osanai and the new boyfriend feels completely different from the dynamic between Osanai and Kobato. This is all to say, watch season 1, and don't be like me, lol. But the new plot feels really good, it ended on such a cliffhanger that makes me press the next button without realizing it. Such an intriguing anime that you can't watch while being distracted.
