What makes this finale work so well is how it balances the athletic thrill of the game with deep, resonant character growth. It gives closure to the long-standing shadow of the school's historical legacy while opening up an inspiring new chapter for the future of the club.
It was a heartwarming ending! It was nice to see them grew better than they were before, and for them to keep moving forward. The ending was clean and gave us a sense of succesful future, I love the good vibe they're giving. It's a nice sport anime to watch in a chill time, it was a good watch overall!
It was a great match, Team Kagekawa did their best, and that is what counts. There is next year, so they better kick it into high gear to keep this feeling alive! The emotional impact of this game for both the upperclassmen is well deserved, this was their first, and last time ever playing this close to the dream of playing in the Nationals in their high school career. Glad to see Kokubo, and Tsuji are back to their old selves even if serious Kokubo was a lot more mellow. Good way to end the season, all the while setting up season 2.
