EPISODE REVIEWS

A touching starting episode that introduces the hardworking, independent fourth-grader Chihiro. What I can see Studio 8bit delivers exceptionally clean background art, utilising soft domestic lighting and highly expressive facial animation to emphasise the emotional weight of Chihiro's sudden lifestyle shift.

Episode 1 was good. I liked how the story unfolded. I just felt a little sad for the main character. I wonder what will happen next his life?

The main characters’ personalities are refreshing, and throughout the episode we can really feel the humor of 2010s anime. Even though the premise is quite serious, the characters’ lighthearted and funny behavior makes it a perfect episode for anyone looking for a fun time.
