Shishunki Shoujo

Synopsis
A pair of high school girls decide they're the ones who'll keep the delinquents in line at their school. Confident, maybe a little reckless, they walk into that role like they've already won — and then reality starts pushing back harder than expected. That gap between how tough you think you are and how tough you actually need to be is where this 2-episode OVA lives. Based on a manga and produced by Suzuki Mirano, Shishunki Shoujo keeps things grounded in a recognizable Japanese high school setting while leaning into the friction between the girls' personalities and the chaos they're trying to manage. The character dynamics carry most of the weight here — the two leads contrast each other in ways that make their interactions feel natural rather than forced, and the soundtrack does a decent job matching the tone as it shifts between lighter moments and more tense ones. At only two episodes, it doesn't overstay its welcome. If you've watched Shishunki no Iron Maiden and liked seeing school-age characters deal with social dynamics that get messier than anticipated, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki who appreciate character-driven stories set in school environments might also find something here worth their time. It's a short watch with a straightforward premise, and sometimes that's exactly what you're in the mood for.
