Episode Context

Building directly on Episode 3's establishment of Shin-chan's school routines, this episode expands the Futaba Kindergarten cast by formally introducing the Principal, Bunta Takakura, a cornerstone supporting character whose recurring gag starts here. It also marks the series' first real pivot into Nohara family outings as a comedic template, setting up a structure the show will revisit endlessly, the family's well-meaning plans derailed by Shin-chan's chaos.
