Izumi is honestly such a good boyfriend. He's thoughtful, supportive, always considers Shikimori’s feelings and somehow seems more confident than she is. He’s also kind, can cook, and his only real flaws are being feeble and unlucky. Easy to see why everyone wants to protect him.
