📖 SYNOPSIS
"Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed" explores the poignant concept of posthumous communication. When someone dies, their final thoughts, regrets, and messages are penned in letters called "shigofumi" and sent to the living. Mikawa Fumika, a mail carrier of these letters, is tasked with delivering these messages alongside her staff and her partner, Kanaka. The mail carriers themselves are deceased individuals, appearing as they did just before their deaths. However, Fumika's silent demeanor hides a deeper mystery: despite her nature, she continues to age, hinting at a unique and perhaps tragic existence. The series delves into themes of loss, closure, and the enduring power of words.
