This is a sensitive episode as someone who are living in the same situation as the villagers, this is sad, really sad, greed is really a drastic thing to witness not to the perpetrator but to the oppress. What a good kid, changing the world in those little hand. It's amazing how Mr. Hound knew it all, he's intuition is really sharp.

I like how the episode gives Hound more room to demonstrate his observational and deductive skills rather than relying entirely on chase sequences.

I really enjoyed the cerebral detective work in this episode. Watching Holmes examine tiny clues and test ingenious theories gives it a grounded, intellectual feel reminiscent of traditional Arthur Conan Doyle tales.
