This felt like a total breath of fresh air! Seeing Pencilgon secretly plotting to take down a Unique Monster because her clan turned soft was such a cool twist. Plus, the insect battles in the Prismatic Forest Grotto looked gorgeous, and Sunraku's big-brain baiting tactics are unmatched.

It's funny how inside a huge armor is just a girl in love squirming shyly. I love how they used misunderstanding, a thing mostly used in romace anime, to play out Rei and Sunraku's interaction. The little hints here and there slowly adds up and adds a shock factor.

Cringe moment and funny scene. Psyger-0 and Sunraku scene will put smile on your face specially when Sunraku overthink the friend request scene also when Sunraku become a commentator for the two insects was kind of funny. amazing visual inside the forest BTW.

Quite a chill episode where we get to see more of the setting/location and Sunraku navigating his way through it. One good addition was with Psyger-0 getting the courage to add Sunraku in game - a nice first step to being closer with him (hopefully).

Episode 9 was a fun mix of strategy and world‑building! Sunraku dodges Ashura‑Kai, befriends Psyger‑0 with an awkward friend request, and makes it into the Prismatic Forest Grotto. The insect‑filled forest and boss tease set a great vibe for the next arc.
