pencilgon using holy water to literally strip wethermon’s armor, and in phase 3 wethermon spamming combo attacks with zero cooldown is exactly why nobody has ever beaten this unique monster. Ep 17 was just 20 straight minutes of pure gas and a really good cinematic animation
Sunraku's high level plays shine in this episode. You can really tell he's honed much of his skills and instinct from playing a lot of games and knowing every miniscule detail he deems important in order to win certain battles. Katzo and Pencilgon's banter was also quite fun to watch, but I'm hoping we also get more of their scenes too.
We finally get a one vs one that highlights Sunraku in his full glory. Even just by watching, you can feel the battle's difficulty spiking because of the pacing and choreography of the battle. It's amazing how lore heavy a few seconds of Wethermoon talking can be.Cliffhanged hard
