Sex Taxi

Synopsis
New to town and already watching — a taxi driver starts picking up passengers and then picking up on everything he can learn about them. That's the setup for Kojin Taxi, a dark 5-episode OVA from 2002 by Studio Jam, adapted from a visual novel. The cabbie at the center of this isn't just doing his job. He's watching, following, and cataloguing. His first target is Satsuki, an archery club member who has no idea the same driver keeps showing up in her life until things have already gone too far. The tone is unsettling from the start — this isn't action or shock for its own sake, it's slow, deliberate psychological manipulation that builds across each episode. The character designs are detailed and the pacing leans into suspense more than most entries in the genre bother to. If you've watched something like Kansen: Inyoku no Rensa or Rinkan Club and appreciated darker, manipulation-driven narratives over purely straightforward content, this sits in that same lane. It's not a comfortable watch — it's not trying to be. The story frames its protagonist as a predator operating in plain sight, and that framing gives it a different texture than most hentai OVAs from the era. If that kind of psychological edge is what you're after, Kojin Taxi delivers it across its runtime without much padding.
