Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A virus wiped out most of humanity, vampires swooped in to enslave the surviving kids, and now those kids are grown up and fighting back with cursed weapons powered by literal demons. That's where Yuuichirou Hyakuya has been since season one. This second season, Nagoya Kessen-hen, picks up right after he discovers his best friend Mikaela, the one he thought died years ago, is now a vampire. So that's complicated. The Moon Demon Company gets intel that vampires are massing in Nagoya, and the whole 12-episode run is essentially one extended military operation that goes sideways in ways you won't see coming. The thing that makes this work is that nobody's fully trustworthy. The vampires are awful, sure, but the human leadership has its own agenda, and Yuuichirou's caught between protecting Mika, staying loyal to his squad, and not losing himself to the cursed gear that gives him power. Wit Studio handled this the same year they were doing Attack on Titan, and the action sequences reflect that pedigree, fluid, weighty fights with real stakes. If you liked the moral gray areas in Tokyo Ghoul or the military camaraderie in Attack on Titan, this hits similar notes. The bond between Yuuichirou and Mikaela carries real emotional weight, especially when they're literally on opposite sides of a war. It's a darker shounen that doesn't shy away from betrayal and sacrifice, and the Nagoya arc is where the story stops pulling punches.

Incredible
BENER-BENER NGGAK KETEBAK BANGET ALUR CERITANYA.
Awalnya ngira bakal makin kelihatan jalannya gimana, tapi malah tim manusia jadi makin buntu.
Tapi kita percaya aja dulu sama Regu Rembulan Iblis. Semoga mereka sukses memenangkan peperangan ini.
Woah! I did not expect that Guren! Man, this is so SICK. The animation effects highlight the skills and the transformations are so COOL. The fighting scenes were amazing too. There’s a lot of shocking revelation that you guys might want to see. It's a 10/10 for me.
What did I just watch! Humans are more cunning and wrenching than the vampires. Kureto is more of a demon than I expected. A lot of things happened, fighting, and there’s a little bit of discernment. And the end was a cliffhanger for me
It’s mostly Mika and Yuu’s reunion after being reunited for a long time. More on talking and dialogues. A slow down for all the fighting scenes. It’s probably just me but it feels romantic T_T.
Woah the effects had me gagging. I think it highlights the fight. Finally get to see one of Kiseki’s abilities too. And Mika!! I’ve been waiting for him. This is good, the anticipation, the urges, and the progression of the story are all present.
The effects of Goshi’s skill were amazing, the details and the colours add depth to the intensity of the scene. Guren's still commanding was so emotional for me. And why is it that in every team there’s always this annoying one T_T.
Crowley is strong af, he’s like playing with wooden swords with kids. It’s getting exciting, the fight scenes were good and the end was a little bit of a cliffhanger for me. Not gonna lie but my jaw was literally dropped only to be faced with ‘to be continued’
I was so excited when I saw Mika. I kind of feel bad for Aihara but knowing her, I think that might be the best. There’s a little bit of fighting scenes but more on word play. And now we're getting closer to the exciting part.
Bro the squad x noble were so good. I enjoyed the fighting scenes and man, those strategies never fails to amaze me. It’s just lacking in some animation effects but overall, it's superb and PEAK.
That was a great fight scene. I just wish they added a lot of effects to highlight the skills they used. Also, I'm kind of sad for Mika seeing him struggling and fighting urges. Overall, it’s good and I think we're getting to the exciting part.
The girls need to be banned from entering the kitchen area lmao. This episode is mostly about conversations and plans. It’s not boring though rather it builds up the tense for what’s coming next.
