We get some more insights on how the villain came to be and her relationship with yumi. This episode was interesting with some touching scenes and well animated fight scenes

We get some much needed backstory for the new antagonists. It actually makes you sympathize with them a little. The pacing slows down to explain the lore, which is nice. Not as much action, but the tension building up for the next rounds of the tournament is noticeable.
