Episode 8 sees Senya, Tsukiko, and Tama finally reach Jinka, but he is stuck behind a barrier, just out of reach. The frustration hits hard, and running into familiar faces adds tension. It feels like they are close, but not quite there.

This episode felt really emotional. We see Jinka and Tama again and it was touching. Past and present mix nicely. Fights and quiet moments both hit hard. I got a bit teary.

This episode is full of grief, how different people process it, how it changes them, how it can either harden or soften. Jinka sits in silence. Tama pushes forward. Shinsuke almost loses himself. And the Mountain Goddess's arrival signals that the calm won't last.
