The World's Strongest Rearguard has a decent premise and a few genuinely good ideas, but it's held back by weak animation, shallow writing, and a protagonist who never becomes interesting. The Shrieking Woods arc shows what the show could have been—a tense, character-driven dungeon crawl with real stakes—but it takes eleven episodes to get there. If you're a diehard fan of dungeon-crawling isekai and you don't mind average production values, this might be worth a watch. If you're looking for something with actual substance, look elsewhere.
