Episode 3 of The World's Strongest Rearguard is more of the same. The boss fight gives the episode a clearer direction, but the animation is weak, the writing is shallow, and the characters are forgettable. The show isn't offensively bad—it's just aggressively average. If you're a diehard isekai fan and you don't mind average production values, this might be watchable. If you're looking for something with actual substance, look elsewhere.
