This episode showed the determination of Moka, a character who is often called childish. And to be honest, I think Hanabi’s feelings have already become obsessive. She has been obsessive from the beginning, though. Luckily, she is still hesitating. Imo, she really needs help.At the end of this episode, I felt quite relieved. But I don’t know what will happen next.
Moca’s character is shown deeply here. The underlying fact that we aren’t totally what we show ourselves as. The animation is used as an imagery to show us the contrast between the two selves of Moca. The pace is also slower in this episode. It complements the narrative splendidly.
Episode 7 is a skillful display of dramatic irony and thematic unity. While it may not provide comfort, it does offer clarity—and in a narrative centered on self-deception, clarity is essential for change.
