Akane’s character exploration really put me on edge. I feel bad for Mr Kanai. He just happens to be in the middle of all these catfights. The full display of each character trait really gives a creepy vibe. Still, it is the very human nature that is indeed creepy to the core. This episode gradually becomes able to point it out. I like the director’s take and the use of animation as a metaphor here.
