Scum of the Brave

In a near-future Tokyo ruled by superpowered crime bosses called Demon Lords, the only ones who can stop them are the Heroes—bounty hunters who enhance their own powers with a dangerous drug. For these legalized killers, the job is less about justice and more about survival. Yashiro, a lone-wolf enforcer known as the Reaper, prefers to work alone, but his solitary life is upended when a high school girl named Jougamine forces her way in as his self-proclaimed apprentice. Reluctantly taking her on, Yashiro finds himself dragged into a spiral of deadly new conflicts.
