Scroll of Darkness

The narrative begins with a solitary figure walking through a forest. Their peaceful stroll is interrupted when a robber appears and steals a bookmark. Driven by a desire to retrieve the lost item, the protagonist gives chase. The pursuit leads them deeper and deeper into the woods. Eventually, the chase culminates in a descent into an endless void of darkness. The animation, created as a graduate work, focuses on the unsettling nature of the unknown and the consequences of a simple act of theft. The story explores the themes of loss, pursuit, and the transition from the familiar to the terrifying.
