Episode Context

As episode one of ten, this is the foundation for Wu Liuqi's larger journey, his lost memories, his unlikely career as an assassin, and the eccentric cast that surrounds him. It establishes the episodic bounty-of-the-week structure while planting seeds for the serialized mystery of Wu's forgotten past. Everything introduced here, his abilities, his compassion, his partnership with Dai Bo, becomes the throughline for the season ahead.
