Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint, episode 15 directly continues the Eri-Mikoto friendship tension introduced in the previous episode, pushing toward resolution rather than letting it linger. It marks a transition point where School Rumble begins deepening its character work beyond pure comedy, setting the foundation for the more emotionally layered relationship dynamics that define the second half. The summer setting also provides a natural seasonal checkpoint before the series shifts gears into arcs that further develop the ensemble cast's interconnected personal growth.
